The unverified-site warning and the SrcNexus badge

Every website published with SrcNexus lives at username.srcnexus.app/project. Because all of those sites share one domain, SrcNexus adds two things around them: a safety warning for sites from unverified accounts, and a small badge on sites from free accounts.

For visitors: “This site was published by an unverified SrcNexus account”

You see this page when the person who published the site has not confirmed their email address with SrcNexus. Anyone can publish a site, so we cannot vouch for what it contains.

  • Don't enter passwords, card numbers or personal information unless you know and trust whoever sent you the link. SrcNexus never asks you to sign in on a*.srcnexus.app site.
  • If you trust it, press Continue to site. The warning stays away for that site on this browser for 24 hours.
  • Think the site is a scam or phishing page? Report it to us.

For site owners: remove the warning by verifying your email

The warning is shown for every account whose email is not verified. It cannot be turned off any other way, including with Pro: it is a safety rule that protects your visitors.

  1. Open the SrcNexus app and sign in.
  2. On the home screen, open the menu at the top right and tap Verify Account.
  3. Enter the code we email you.

The warning disappears from all your sites within a few seconds of verifying. You do not need to publish again.

The “Made with SrcNexus” badge

Sites from free accounts show a small “Made with SrcNexus” link in the bottom-right corner of each page. It is added while the page is being served; your files are never changed, and nothing is added to images, scripts, stylesheets or other files.

SrcNexus Pro removes the badge Coming soon

SrcNexus Pro is not available yet. When it launches, sites from Pro accounts will be served without the badge. Pro will not remove the unverified-site warning: verify your email for that.
